Why chose United VBC of the Rockies?

United Volleyball Club is the Premier volleyball club in our 12th season of training young women from all over Western Colorado. Our primary goal is to teach young ladies how to become complete athletes on-and-off the court. We believe in the value of life lessons through sports.

We are the most successful volleyball club on the Western Slope. If you have a passion for volleyball, you should come tryout for one of our teams.

Have you ever asked your kid's coach who trained THEM?

We believe that CONSTANT training of our coaches is the difference between a good and great coach. With that in mind, our coaches are constantly being challenged to "find" a better way to teach and individualize the training for each of our players. We "coach" our coaches, mentor them and challenge them because there is no ONE "right" way to teach the game, every kid is different and the goal is to find a way to teach YOUR kid how to be successful.

What did YOUR coach learn this summer about volleyball?

The game is always changing and evolving... Is your coach???

Ours are... This is what makes us different.

United Volleyball Club Program:

Our juniors program is designed for girls ages 11-18. We have TWO DIFFERENT DIVISIONS for the girls:

- High School Age girls (15-18 year olds), for specifics on each team, see the named tabs under About United.

- Middle School Age girls (11-14 year olds), for specifics on each team, see the named tabs under About United.

All players selected to one of the club's juniors teams must be prepared for evening and weekend practices, as well as several weekend tournaments.

Time Commitment

The club season runs from mid-November to the end of March (depending on team) and it is our expectation that each player will be available two times a week for practices. Our practice times are throughout the week during the evening and most teams will practice on Sunday afternoon. During the Holiday Season, practice days and times may vary.

Team Selection

A team will consist of 11 players or less. At Tryouts, all players submit a deposit in the form of a check. If a player does not make the team, the deposit will be returned. If your player is assigned to a team and then you change your mind or quit, your deposit is forfeited.

Financial Aid

Each year there are scholarships available. Scholarship money is applied to your account after the rest of the financial obligation has been met. Please contact the Club Director at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.

If you want to play, we will FIND a way to make it happen....
